Important Parent Information:
Dismissal begins at 2:40 pm. Please ensure on-time for pick-up for your child daily.
Teachers will escort students to their designated line-up spots then dismiss all students. Please refrain from taking your child off line without teacher acknowledgement.
To help ensure the safety of all our children and reduce the number of people in the building during arrival and dismissal, all parents (Grades 1 – 5) must remain outside during morning drop-off and afternoon pickup. If you need to enter the school for any reason, proceed to the main entrance on Waverly Avenue to sign in with the School Safety Agent.
Homework & Report Cards
Our Homework policy has evolved over the years with input from our teachers, administration and our school leadership team. Homework is an important supplement to reinforce learning and help our scholars solidify concepts learned in class.
Additionally homework has tremendous benefits in further developing skills such as problem solving, time management, and organization. With early exposure to homework expectations we hope habits learned now will support our scholars throughout their school journey, K-12 and beyond!
All Students are given assignments for home Monday-Thursday. Always age appropriate, thoughtful, engaging aiming to further develop academic aptitude, healthy study habits and reinforce class topics. Families are encouraged to engage their scholars in reading daily.
